The Vmax vacuum circuit-breakers consist of an insulating monobloc in which three vacuum interrupters are housed. The monobloc and operating mechanism are fixed to a frame. The structure is very compact and ensures sturdiness and mechanical reliability. Vmax circuit-breakers are used in electrical distribution for control and protection of cables, overhead lines, transformer and distribution substations, motors, transformers, generators and capacitor banks.
